Pauline Milsted

Oaks Diss Management Team

Pauline holds a PGCE in lower primary 3-7 years and is currently studying her Masters in education. She also has a degree in Early Childhood Studies, where she received the Matsuda Award; for being the most likely in a cohort to make a difference in the early years. Pauline has worked with children for over 11 years and is enthusiastic, dedicated and loves her job. Pauline loves to see the children learn, develop and thrive at nursery and the opportunity to be part of their learning journey.

The Oaks Nursery, Diss, Norfolk

We are conveniently located in the heart of Diss town center, beside the library. Our nurturing ‘home from home’ environment is carefully designed to encourage children to learn independently in a safe, secure environment that promotes equality and values diversity. We have an experienced skilled manager, who holds a BA (hons) Degree in Early Learning. Healthy home cooked meals are provided using fresh ingredients to promote a healthy balanced diet.

We provide a range of fun activities, resources, and experiences to meet children’s individual needs and interests. Children have the opportunity to explore our exciting outdoor area all year round.

We charge a registration fee of £35

We offer Free Early Education for eligible 2 year olds and all 3 and 4 year olds

All children who are 3 years old are entitled to free early education the term after they are 3 years old. They are entitled to 15 funded hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. This can be taken during school term times only or stretched out over the whole year.

Free early education for 2 year olds is offered to families meeting certain criteria, please ask for details or see “Do you need help with funding?” at the top of this page.

There is no registration charge if your child only attends for their free entitlement.
