Seashore Day Nursery

We are conveniently located close to the seafront and town centre.

Seashore Day Nursery is based in a custom designed building which opened in July 2003. The building is on two levels and is designed to be completely accessible to everyone, having sloped entrances and a lift to the upper floor. Our nurturing 'home from home' environment is carefully designed to encourage children to learn independently in a safe, secure environment that promotes equality and values diversity. We have an experienced skilled manager and staff team. We provide all meals and promote healthy eating. Our cook prepares a healthy home cooked lunch for the children using fresh ingredients.

We provide a range of fun activities, resources, and experiences to meet children's individual needs and interests. Children have the opportunity to explore our outdoor area all year round and take part in physical activity, being adventurous in safety.

Are you eligible for funding?

We offer Free Early Education for eligible 2 year olds and all 3 and 4 year olds.

All children who are 3 years old are entitled to free early education the term after they are 3 years old. They are entitled to 15 funded hours a week for 38 weeks of the year.

This can be taken during school term times only or stretched out over the whole year. Free early education for 2 year olds is offered to families meeting certain criteria, please ask for details or see ‘Are you eligible with funding?’ at the top of this page.

There is no registration charge if your child only attends for their free entitlement.
